Those sneaky musical cephalopods known as Squid Lid recently released a new album while I wasn’t looking and now I can’t stop listening to it, in particular Shiny Metal Lure. Even better? The video!

YouTube seems like an odd place to release music, but so far that’s been the only place I’ve been able to find and listen to the work of enigmatic Danish composer Martin Friis Jørgensen, aka MFJØRG. I found him on Instagram and he has a non-English (and mostly content-free) website, but that’s about it other than the LFORSK YouTube Channel. If you know anything about him or his work, please comment – I’d love to purchase his entire library of music!
