Saints of Ruin : Glampyre
I mentioned a week or so ago that I was working on artwork for a New Orleans band; the band is Saints of Ruin; the artwork is for their forthcoming album Glampyre. New Painting : The Cornish Litany
Cornish litany postcards are sometimes called by other names – Devon Litany, West Country Litany, Scottish Litany – but they all have the following text (or slight variations) in common:
From Ghoulies and ghosties
And long legetty beasties
And things that go bump in the night
Good Lord deliver us!
I was hired to paint a modern interpretation at actual postcard size – 4″ x 6″. This is it!
